Why Davlor Conscious Alarms?
Your first thoughts matter. And the way you wake up influences how you begin your day. This was the driving force behind two friends and conscious collaborators, Lorie Ladd and David Onka, when they set out to rethink the way we approach one of the most familiar moments in everyone's life: waking up.
An alarm clock is the first interaction of the day for millions of people around the world, so David and Lorie's shared intention was to create more than just another alarm clock, but a conscious tool that could transform that first interaction of the day into an opportunity to wake up with greater awareness, encouragement and intention. And so, Davlor Conscious Alarm was born.

Combining intentionally designed sounds, special frequencies, carefully structured musical sequences, thoughtful timing and empowering spoken affirmations, Davlor Conscious Alarm represents a deliberate approach to creating a conscious waking experience.
Many traditional alarms use abrupt, attention-grabbing sounds to wake you up, while others use gentle sounds that are easy to ignore and may tempt some people to drift back to sleep. Davlor Alarms offer a conscious alternative to both.
Visual
But the idea behind Davlor Conscious Alarm goes deeper than the product itself.
Scientific research (Tassi & Muzet, 2000; Bruck & Pisani, 1999) has shown that the transition from sleep to wakefulness can temporarily affect alertness, information processing and decision-making in some people. This period, known as sleep inertia, is one reason the first moments after waking matter and deserve more attention than they often receive.
Visual
What if, instead of treating waking up as just another everyday routine, we approached those moments with greater intention—recognising that the way we begin our day influences how we experience what follows?
That question lies at the heart of Davlor Conscious Alarm.
